Nathan Chud
The inspiration for Nathan’s album artwork came from his passionate and poetic lyrics. Taking pieces of his lyrics, we used the type as a medium for illustration. The words and letterforms conglomerate–almost haphazardly–to portray a mass of questions, prayers, declarations, and laments in the shape of a foreboding cloud or stormy sea. The green emerging from the bottom creates contrast and tension, evoking a sense of hope and new growth in the midst of uncertainty.
