Scottish born, Jonathan Boler, is the technological whiz kid at Red Car Studio. His expertise and perfect execution takes place behind the secret curtains of the Studio. If you were to peek behind those curtains you’d witness the creation of software, user interfaces and Boler using programming to make design come alive. Boler’s gift developed at a young age via his curiosity about computers, technology and the way things worked. He enjoyed solving complex technological problems and transforming flat design into functional art. Instead of oil paints and canvasses, Boler’s mediums of choice are Ruby on Rails with HAML and SASS, PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript. For most people, that’s just alphabet soup – but for Boler – they are languages that translate to pixel perfect design implementation. His fluency with these languages makes client projects seem more like an active hobby than work. During his downtime, Boler enjoys the exploration of philosophic and economic ideologies, films, documentaries, and travel. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife, Kate and their adorable new son Matthew.
